Focus areas include virtualization and optimization, security and access management, and messaging & collaboration solutions. Virteva also offers a full range of remote management and monitoring services, including servers, virtualization, and messaging technologies, as well as the underlying network, storage, and security platforms.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Messaging Consultant who is extremely customer focused and has extensive Microsoft experience with Exchange. The Senior Messaging Consultant will lead and, in some cases, execute various projects that center around the effective configuration and documentation of messaging systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Designs, plans, architects, implements, documents and maintains of the following technologies:
  • Active Directory
  • Exchange 2003/2007/2010
  • Microsoft Online Services (BPOS, Office365)
  • OCS/Lync
  • Windows Server 2000/2003/2008
• Maintain a high level of client satisfaction at all times by completing jobs on schedule and by displaying a positive and helpful attitude
• Ensure complete and timely follow-through with all client contacts

Desired Education, Experience & Other Skills

• BE or BS Degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field preferred
• Advanced level expertise relating to the Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008, Active Directory, SharePoint 2003/2007/2010 and Exchange 2003/2007/2010
• Provide advanced level expertise in AD/Messaging infrastructure prerequisites to support Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007/2010
• Proven design, planning and implementation experience with Windows 2003 and 2008 Server technologies
• Experience with Unified Communications solutions, Unified Messaging (UM) and voicemail platforms a plus
• One or more advanced professional certifications related to chosen discipline (MCSE, MCITP Enterprise Admin, etc.) is desired
• Background and/or certifications in ITIL, COBIT, or CMMI
• Ability to communicate, mentor, teach, and explain concepts at multiple levels with the capability to extract the business value related to the proposed solutions
• Minimum of 5 years of consulting experience required
